Antsiranana, formerly Diego Suarez, opens onto one of the world’s great bays. French Mountain, the Andavakoera sugarloaf, Ramena beach and the Emerald Sea combine colonial history, hiking and sea time. It is the base for Ankarana, Amber Mountain and the Cap route.
